Kate Todd is a Yorkshire lass born and bred. Although not formally art trained she has always been creative and enjoyed painting, especially watercolours.

She lives in a very pretty town called Knaresborough in North Yorkshire with her husband Andy, children Anna and Chris, two lazy dogs Floss and Barney, and not forgetting two guinea pigs, but most importantly is her beloved 16.2hh mare called Nelly! Although she doesn't ride herself her daughter Anna is affiliated at British Eventing (BE) and British Show Jumping (BSJA).

Sometime ago she was searching for horse and pony christmas cards to send to all her horsey pals when she discovered there were not many horse cards she liked, so she started designing her own. Not only does she paint christmas cards she also has a range of birthday and other occasion cards. Silly filly was born.
